What we test

Metabolic health

Tired by three in the afternoon. Every afternoon.

You have put it down to age, or work, or sleep. Meanwhile the weight settles around your middle and will not shift, and your father's diabetes sits somewhere at the back of your mind. Insulin resistance builds for years without a single symptom you would take to a doctor. By the time it shows up on a routine test, it has been measurable for a decade.

What we measure

Measured, then read by a person.

We measure where you sit on that curve rather than guessing at it: HbA1c for the last three months of glucose, fasting glucose and insulin together, and HOMA-IR to show how hard your body is working to hold the line. A registered practitioner reads it with you. You leave knowing which number to move first.

Insulin resistance is measurable years before it becomes a diagnosis. We establish where you sit on that curve and what moves it.

Metabolic panel

  • HbA1c
  • Fasting glucose
  • Fasting insulin
  • HOMA-IR
  • Uric acid
  • Leptin
  • Adiponectin

Part of a 42-analyte panel. Composition is confirmed with our accredited laboratory partner before testing, and adjusted to what you present with. Results are interpreted by a registered practitioner and are not a diagnosis on their own.
